Located in the Roseland Peninsula AONB, around 10 miles from Truro, the Lodge is the perfect base for exploring the best of Cornwall's natural beauty. Only a 5 minute walk from the coastal path and small fishing village of Portloe, the tranquil rural location offers breathtaking sea views and easy access to scenic trails.

Is there a minimum stay policy?
We require a minimum stay of three nights. However, during the summer holidays (late July to early September), bookings must be for at least seven nights.
Is The Lodge wheelchair friendly?
Yes, the lodge is wheelchair accessible and entirely on one level. Inside, it features spacious living areas and a wide hallway for easy mobility.
Do you recycle?
Yes, we have general waste and recycling.
Is the garden fully secure?
Yes, the garden is enclosed on all sides. Dogs have plenty of space to explore safely without the risk of escaping.
Is there a pub within walking distance?
Within a mile of The Lodge, you'll find two charming pubs, each accessible via scenic walks. The Ship Inn in Portloe is just a short stroll across the fields and along the coastal path, while The New Inn in Veryan is a 20-minute walk via the road or the adjacent footpath.
Are there any good running routes from The Lodge?
Situated on the scenic Roseland Peninsula, our location provides runners with an abundance of trails from the doorstep. The well-maintained coastal path offers diverse terrain and breathtaking views in both directions.
